| today i'm supposed to be :
cleaning, doing laundry, organizing bookshelf etc
writing to ish in our shared journal, writing a letter to binks
practicing digital bass (i am now the bassist on the keyboard. until we find a real bassist.)
perhaps going to drive later (yesterday was the first time i drove my car in a long long long time, i was petrified and nauseous and my hands were shaking. i went with my dad. he says a time or two more and i'll be good to go solo. (sigh))
the Bike Guy and I are .. official? Officially.. Boyfriend and Girlfriend. That sounds silly. I'm not sure if I mentioned his name is Emmanuel, or Eman for short. More on that later..
dreams: patrick goes super saiyan - or more like terrible nordic muscle building long haired god of doom. on the lawn at the music college we attend. he morphs into a demon thing that has this incredible long .. arm thing.. that shoots out spikes and needles and chases me around the school, inside and out. i see a small flock of sheep get massacred and little dogs too. the ooze seeping from the giant tentacle drives animals insane - but i found a little white dog that was unaffected, so i carried it under my arm. this was after i turned into some kind of floating goddess that sprinkled bubbles and shot out beams of purifying light over the campus.

| | Does anyone know how I can adjust the rotation speed of my turntable? The one I bought at Target is acting weird and I think I might need to go in and try and adjust something. It might have to do with the fact that the parts are pretty cheap and I'm not too sure if the table/needle area is supposed to be sticking up the way it is. I think if it were more secure then the weight of the record wouldn't put the thing off balance, thus making it act like the record is warped (it's not). Every time I try to play something, the needle just glazes on over the entire thing and stops. Why? I don't know :( I know for a fact that I have it on the right speed setting, etc, and reading reviews online made me realize that a LOT of people have had issues with this brand/model. | So I remember in Pittsburgh I saw (but did not speak to) the dude who invented these stupid STUPID (STUPID!@!@!@) .. security thingies. I feel like they look like this.  Then again, I should have made that even more hard to read. Because sitting here, I can pretty much figure out the letters and numbers - and more easily than I can with the actual DiStOrTed ones I come across online. I am so annoyed of encountering these things all over the internet. :(
Went to Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf again today. I guess I like it better than Psychobabble. Mostly because there is a lot more outdoor seating. It was cold! And I kept spacing out. Kind of like I am right now.

| So, some of you may know how I feel about American Apparel ads. Basically, I always get the impression that the girls in these ads are being exploited somehow. Oh, I don't know, I guess I kind of get a "I had sex with the photographer for this job - I'm one of the A.A groupies.'-vibe.
As I was perusing craigslist (ostensibly looking for a job) I found this posting:
